Staff Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an able assistant for the ministry staff of Christian Hill Community Church.  We need this person to be a team player with a servant’s heart. The applicant must have an aptitude for coordinating communications and events, and a passion for the local church. A positive and humble spirit, a history of diligence with a strong work-ethic, and an ability to multitask, is a must. The job also mandates strong organizational and people skills.

This is a full time position that requires advanced computer skills and, an ability to handle conflict and solve problems. At least 3 to 5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant is required. The job pays $37,000 to $44,500 annually.

The administrative assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to church staff, to ensure efficient and professional operations of Christian Hill’s ministry team. The administrative assistant must demonstrate strong people skills and a clear work-ethic that fully supports the pastor and the staff through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication, demonstrating a heart for facilitating the ministry purposes of the church.

The administrative assistant must be an effective ambassador of the pastors/shepherd’s heart, and a supporter of the vision and values of CHCC. As such, the administrative assistant must have good people-skills, demonstrating the caring and patient attitude of a humble servant in all forms of communication. (i.e. phone, email, face-to-face)

Experience, being a self-starter, and having good judgment with a wide degree of creativity and flexibility, is required to function effectively as an administrative assistant.
